Singing at Acoustix Jazz Jam
I sat in and sang a few tunes tonight at Acoustix in downtown ATL. Wow! Amazing musicians…what an honor to jam with them: Nick Rosen on piano, Kinah Boto on drums, Evan Hodges on bass, also sitting in was Scott Draffin on sax. Check out Acoustix on Sundays! :)

Finally up and running in Hotlanta

Mixing and Mastering are finally complete!
Thank you Sean for all of your help in co-producing on my debut album. Thanks Bob for your mastering expertise! It has finally become an album :)
The “Five P’s”
So you have to speak at an event….Remember the “Five P’s“:
1. Plan: Have a plan or “road map” of how you want to approach your speech. For example, where will you pause or what words will you emphasize?
2. Pace: If you Speak too fast, it sounds like you’re nervous, so use a moderate pace. Use pitch variety so you don’t sound monotone and so you can engage your audience.
3. Pitch: Vocal variety is great for engaging your audience. If your speaking pitch is too high all the time, you will sound nervous.
4. Pause: Build pauses sparingly in your speech, because a few well-timed pauses create a sense of intrigue and curiosity. In addition, they will sound more natural.
5. Passion: Love your topic, because passion is important and it’s the biggest selling point you have.
3 more tunes…
Three more tunes to record on the album and we begin mixing soon! So excited! Thank you Sean for devoting any extra time you have for me to complete this CD. It means a lot to me.
